One of the advantages of a calibrated multispectral sensor is the generation of aligned outputs, which can be used to create digital surface models (DSM). A DSM provides more than just context when it comes to managing farming operations. It also provides insights into water management, land uses and terrain elevation, factors that can influence agricultural practices and even determine which crops to plant in order to take advantage of the land conditions.
